The launch of Ethiopia’s new health sec­tor pro­ject

Biomedical technology: a new focus of Ethiopian-German cooperation

German Technical Cooperation is working with Ethiopia’s ministries of health and education to establish a practical model of vocational training and education for biomedical technicians and health staff. Launched in February 2019, the project will help to build the systems and capacities needed to improve the management of medical equipment in Ethiopia’s health system.

Par­tic­i­pants of HR and gen­der train­ing in Mon­rovia, Liberia

Gender and the Health Workforce

German Cooperation has developed a short-term training in “Gender Responsive Human Resources for Health Planning, Development and Management.” The training was used to train human resources managers of Liberia’s Ministry of Health. The training manual can be used to replicate and adapt the training as needed.
