Dear colleagues,

As health experts, you know that we have ‘No time to WASTE!’ when it comes to halting climate change and protecting the environment. In Nepal, a groundbreaking conference on healthcare waste management has put this issue squarely on the national agenda. 

Liberian women's opportunities in the healthcare sector are better today than they were three years ago. A Liberian-German project empowered female health workers all along their career paths, and the ways in which it did this are remarkably well documented.

Study tour delegation

A first-hand look at comprehensive patient-centered primary care

In November 2019, a 17-person delegation from Kyrgyzstan travelled to Almaty to learn about Kazakhstan’s approach to patient-centered primary health care services for mothers and children. Seeing the delivery of this innovative approach on the ground and being able to discuss it with their Kazakh colleagues was an eye-opener for the Kyrgyz health experts.
