Hi All,
In the spring, we discussed our prices and the fact that we would be running various promotions. Therefore, we agreed to pay healers a steady rate so that they would be insulated from any fluctuations in the promotional price. That meant Healing Life Now would "eat" the discount and not the healers.
So this is what we said:
1) Normal (non-promotional) price is $30 / session
2) Promotion price floor is $20 / session, but would only be offered in packages of 5 sessions or more. The launch promotion package is 5 sessions for $100. But in the future we would raise the number of sessions needed for this price to 10 sessions ($200) to encourage persistence in healing programs.
3) We pay healers $15 / session minus mandatory Paypal taxes and fees. Healers are responsible for filing own income taxes and paying tax on healing amount. Healers also must agree upfront to tithe 10% of healing income.
4) Therefore, if individual sessions are bought (which is unlikely so long as the promotion is happening) the healer will still be paid $15 minus mandatory paypal taxes and fees.
- if $100 healing package is bought, HLN portion is $25 out of $100
- If 30 session is bought, HLN portion is $15 out of $30. This is fair because it still requires time and resources to process the order for 1 session versus for a package of 5 sessions.
5) When we change our promotion, HLN portion is the price minus the healer portion
For example, say we change the package to 4 sessions for $100 ($25/session)
- healer portion is $15 x 4 = $60 minus paypal taxes and fees
- HLN portion is (25-15)x4 = $40.
6) The HLN income will be re-invested to grow the business = eg, pay rent, bills, and eventually, HR salary.
It is necessary for HLN to have stable operations and cash flow in order to grow in a healthy manner and benefit more healers and patients.
7) Part of HLN profit (assuming we run in a profitable manner) will be set aside to award bonuses to good healers. Performance will take into account timely submission of paperwork (including scanning reports), service delivery (responsive communication and recommendations for healing protocols, quality & effectiveness of healings) and patient and/or customer satisfaction ratings and testimonials.
Best,
Due
