Hi all -

Well they burned the midnight oil and got it done. Here is the tax return for 2021. For the first time in 12 years, I made a profit at Headwaters. Wow. This is due to two things - 1) the grant we got for the hoop house was a year later than the expenditures, and 2) I did almost $2,000 worth of consulting work in 2021 that I didn't pay myself for, so it turns up in income for Headwaters, which I now will pay taxes on, as well as the grant for the hoop house, making that project more expensive for me than it already was.

I've never paid myself for the consulting I've done, it's always gone into Headwaters. In past years, it's just made the loss less.

The return is different than last year because I did pay myself back what I could. The amount I'm owed is still less than the mortgage, but not by as much as before.

Thanks, Gwen
