Deed and Promissory note

Hi Gwen,

 

Our lawyer is asking for a copy of the deed from you to the corporation and the promissory note from the corporation to you.

Those are not included in the documents you put online. Could you share those?

 

I also have a question about the accountants. From what I found, usual fee for S-corp taxes is $600-$800. Their bill is $1600+. Why is it so much?

Hi Tomas - 

Deeds and notes like that are always available at the Town Office, they're on file there. I'll attach my scanned copy of what's on file.

As for the costs of accountants, I'm sure that varies as much as the costs for lawyers. You get what you pay for. 

Thanks for making the switch to the HOA for your condo fees. I think you are the only person that has done it so far.
