I am forwarding on an email from the Director of the Uttarakhand Skill Development Mission below.
The Uttarakhand state government has recently signed a project with the World Bank to upgrade the quality of 148 ITIs in Uttarakhand. You can read more about this partnership here.
They are now looking to engage a consulting firm to conduct a Needs Assessment and develop strategic Professional Development Plans (PDPs) for training of Principals, Foremen, Teachers and staff at ITIs.
This will be a six-month consultancy for firms that have been in business for at least 10 years and have an average annual turnover of at least INR 10 crores (last 3 years).

Project goal: To improve the quality of select Industrial Training Institutes in Uttarakhand
Requirements for PDP:
The PDP will include training programs and plans for all ITI principals, foremen, and teachers in the public ITI system in Uttarakhand. It will also specify the list of training partners, courses of training or expected areas of training, training cost, and timeline of training. ITI principals, foremen, and teachers and industries will be consulted for finalizing the draft PDP.
