Apply for Trademark

Hi, till I am not created any company or NGO, but I want to have trademark. I am in Delhi, Can anybody help me to guide how to do it. and how much it will cost? Also Can i do it online?

you will need to file for different trademarks for logo, specific, terms, pictures, etc... also, depending upon the class that it falls into, there is a different application for every class....

Hi,

All the info is available online. You can also eFile, but you can also visit their office in New Delhi.

You can register the Trademark on an individual basis or on behalf of a company. In the case of a company, you need a Board resolution. And the company can be represented only by its CEO/MD or by its legal representative. In the case of an individual, he can do it personal or again by his legal representative. Not by a consultant, etc.

Anyway, most of the information is available through Google.

From my experience, its a very simple process. Not very expensive. While I had registered Trademarks & Patents before the advent of eFilings, the officers in Chennai very pretty helpful.

Talking about trademarks, How does one register for a patent( product patent, processes patent, design patent, techno;ogy patent) Are these differently categorised ?  , IPR Management are other issues want some inputs on. WOuld appreciate if we have someone who can throw light on these topics.
