Marico Innovation Foundation is calling upon medtech entrepreneurs, corporates and innovators
who can solve the med-tech challenges faced in the on-going COVID-19 crisis.Join us in our audacious endeavour.
This is one of a kind dynamic grand challenge where we are focussing on specific problems statements.
As the pandemic progresses, the grand challenge may expand to other items of critical need in consultation with medical experts.

What is the grand challenge?

Ventilator and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) solutions that are –

Ready to go into manufacturing as soon as possible

 

Simple, easy and quick to deploy on site (healthcare workers can be trained quickly)

 

Significantly cost-effective compared to currently available solutions in the market, with high performance

 

Safe and compliant with requisite medical standards

 

Open to making the solution open source format

 

Who can participate?

🡽 You are an innovator or entrepreneur or corporate
🡽 You are specifically working on ventilators, respiratory solutions or PPEs
🡽 You have a solution ready to scale to commercialization
🡽 You have a solution that needs minor modifications to scale to commercialization

What’s in it for you?

Total Prize Money of

Rs 2.5 Crores

3 winners to receive INR 40 lakh each

for solutions that are ready to manufacture by April 15, 2020
(To be disbursed when production begins)

Grand prizes

for solutions that require minor modifications but will be ready for rapid scaling up and commercialization soon
(To be disbursed basis milestones and Jury discretion is final)
