I am on obsidian 0.12 as a blind user of the nvda screenreader.
I would love to get in to obsidian, but am still not able to read text back while editing. Will this be fixed? How can we adres such a thing on the roadmap I mean accessibility should be a priority hthese days of all kinds of organisations. HOw can we get this properly adresed on the backlog? And fixed within one of the upcoming sprints?
Hi, still the accessibility of obsidian is not good. F.e. in the IOS and IPAD-Version it is not possible to reach the Button for switching Preview/Edit with Voiceover as well as the two other buttons. This means, that a user with screenreader can not switch from edit zu preview at all. Is it possible to fix the accessibility? - should not be too hard.

I looked into saved obsidian files in dropbox and on my computer and everything appears to still be there, except everything that i input into this Obsidian vault/files cannot seem to be accessed. Thanks for any assistance.
I found myself here after installing Obisidian onto a new machine. I was getting the black screen while indexing. I resolved it by deleting the .obsidian folder that I copied over from old machine and re-copied it back again into the vault and it worked without the black screen.
I am updating obsidian using a package management software (chocolatey), which actually installs the new version without built-in updater and also updates both Obsidian and Obsidian installer. The problem still persists.
Hard to work this way.
Let me understand, this issue happens with obsidian only?
Otherwise it may be related to your graphic card. Alt-tab under windows (especially in fullscreen mode ) is not flawless.
The best you can do is to backup your obsidian vault folder, delete obsidian and re install a fresh copy.
My obsidian wiki is in a free Dropbox account. I just have actions that save to Dropbox, with a particular tag and then I have a process at the end of the day to go and process new Orphans in Obsidian with that tag.
About 90% of the forest on Obsidian Cliff plateau burned in 1988. The fire did not damage the cliff face, but it cleared the surface, creating optimal conditions for archeological surveys. Those surveys added substantially to knowledge about how obsidian was mined from the bedrock and collected as cobbles from the overlying glacial till. Staff are now researching the intensity of use of this obsidian, both within the park and across North America.
