I have just installed via update site (
http://headlesseclipse.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/com.ind.eclipse.headlesseclipse.site
) few minutes ago but starting on windows

eclipsec -nosplash -data D:\Progetti\galileo\matrix -application
com.ind.eclipse.headlessworkspace.Application exportears

I got
Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap

I have galileo distribution of eclipse and I tried different Xmx
values in my eclipse.ini but I always got the above error.

I also tried as the first post of http://www.eclipsezone.com/eclipse/forums/t104307.html
says but with no luck.

Did someone come across this issue? Is there another workaround? Is
this because of I'm using Galileo?

Please let me know.

Actually I haven't tested launching in a separate JVM by myself...I
mean, I followed
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Equinox_Launcher#Finding_a_VM.2C_Using_JNI_Invocation_or_Executing_Java

So starting :

java -jar C:\Programmi\galileo\eclipse\plugins
\org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.201.R35x_v20090715.jar -nosplash -
data D:\Progetti\galileo\matrix -application
com.ind.eclipse.headlessworkspace.Application exportears

IT WORKS!!!!

Glad to hear, that it works. Probably permgen space was low, or
anything else. Anyway for investigation we would need the exact output
and command line, and plugin version as well. It is tested with both
gallileo and ganymede. But if it works, enjoy your eclipse without
head :)
