Hi,

I am using the HDR-VDP metric for evaluation purposes.
I was wondering if the color coded output of HDR-VDP (ie e.g
vdpout.png) is labeled as:
black - pixels in refernce image = 0.
grey - pixel in ref image > 0 but prob of visual diff < 75%
green - prob of visual diff > 75%
red prob of visual diff > 90%

I found no explicit mention of this in the documentation?
Can someone confirm or correct this interpretation?

Best Regards
Joel

Hi Joel,

The generated images use the following color-coding to
describe the probability of
detection:

<25% - gray

50% - green

62.5% - yellow

75% to 95% - red

100% - magenta

I added this piece to the manual page of 'vdpvis' (CVS only).

Cheers,

Rafal
