Running hdrvdp gives error "Error usig fileparts. Too many arguments"

When running hdrvdp the above error occurs on line 172, which looks like this.

[pathstr, name, ext, versn] = fileparts(mfilename( 'fullpath' ));

If i remove all the output arguments except pathstr i no longer get the error and the program executes fully so this is the only place i get any error. 

I have been unable to figure out the cause of this and i do not understand what i am doing wrong. There was a earlier post from someone who had a similar issue, but he had not gotten any response.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
