Update

As an update....

The boards have shipped (from Malaysia) and are estimated to be here
on the 18th.
The parts have shipped (from Minnesota) and are estimated to be here
on the 19th.

I also have USB cables coming in from monoprice.com and some static
bags from amazon.com, both of which should arrive late in the week.

So, it looks like I'll be putting the first prototype together Friday
evening if all goes well. Assuming it works as planned, I will start
making them on Saturday, and hope to get the preorders done fairly
quickly.

I still need to finish the code to actually interface to them, but
this should be pretty easy, and just requires about half an hour more
coding, and then testing once I have the first prototype finished.
The code will be on github once I get that far.
