Neighbors,
The Highlands-Douglass Neighborhood Association (HDNA) is moving our June board meeting from Wednesday, June 5th to Wednesday, June 12th in order to bring you a program about Kentucky State Parks.
We are pleased to invite you -- and your friends and neighbors! -- to join us for a presentation by Seth Wheat, Director of Interpretation and Engagement of Kentucky State Parks, at the Douglass Community Center (2305 Douglass Boulevard) at 6:30pm on Wednesday, June 12th.
The program, "Kentucky State Parks Turn 100: Your Guide to the Ultimate KY Staycation", will include:
• Historical high points of Kentucky State Parks throughout the last century;
• Information about the Kentucky State Park system today and the 44 parks, 2 trail systems and 1 interstate park that are open to citizens and visitors of the Commonwealth, including the 17 state resort parks;
• And some of the most unique historical, geological, and cultural places in Kentucky and why they are worth visiting and preserving.
Refreshments will be provided.
We look forward to seeing you at 6:30pm on June 12th at the Douglass Community Center!
Sincerely,
HDNA Board
