Soon to be T100 NeTV2 owner

I just ordered a NeTV2 (T100 quickstart) and expect to be using it with
unencrypted video, so I will probably be trying the code the hdmiusb project
is developing, on it. The crowd supply estimate is May 31st for shipping,
but since the backers units are going to be going out soon, it might not
be that long before mine ships. I'll probably just be doing simple things
and reporting problems.

I bought this because of the 35C3 talk Bunnie and Mithro gave and that I'd
like to see section 1201 of the DMCA overturned. I may be able to use it
for some presentation stuff at work.

Hi Bruno!

Currently most of the developers of LiteX-BuildEnv / HDMI2USB have yet to get their NeTV2 boards (only myself and Florent got early versions and we are both pretty time limited at the moment!). Hence the "HDMI2USB firmware" for the board is not really ready for use. I expect as people start to get the hardware this will quickly change. I'm pretty willing to try out beta stuff and file bugs. I probably won't
be much help in coding fixes. I'm not a backer, so pretty much everyone
else that has pre-ordered will get theirs before I do. It also looked
like the 100T is a bit behind the 35T in the tool chain progress based
on Chris Wolf's 35C3 talk which I just watched yesterday. So I might need
to help get it documented too, depending on how things have progressed
since that talk.

All the firmware is currently built with Xilinx Vivado (closed source tooling provided by the FPGA vendor). None of the open tooling is up to the task of something the complexity of the HDMI2USB firmware yet and probably won't be until the end of the year at the earliest (I'm writing that as a developer of the open tooling).
