get "user unknown" error trying to use the listserv there.
I've noticed that in many of the metadata viewing environments (that
use spase records, at least) tend to reveal e-mail addresses in plain
text, for example accessing spase://SMWG/Person/Larry.J.Granroth
reveals my e-mail to even the simplest spam-oriented harvestor.
Should any effort be expended to attempt to avoid this?
Also, I've noticed that one or two of the subscribers to this group
may be spambots of some sort. Is there some way to "vote them off the
island" . . . ?
