Hello everyone,

We have a within-subjects design and when we plot the posterior probability distributions for the drift parameter, we see a dip showing negative values for posterior probability like in the figure I am sending. Could you let us know what could cause such an issue?

Thanks,
Dilara

Hi Dilara,

The mekan effect is *relative* to the intercept, so it means that in that condition you have a relatively lower drift-rate.

Hi Thomas,

Actually I was not refering to the values on x axis. For the distribution showing the effect of mekan relative to the intercept, we see negative posterior probability values on the y axis. We are not sure what this means and what might be the problem here.

Ah, that's just due to the interpolation. If you plot them on separate figures that should disappear.
