Vote, then Self-Care
Election week is a tense week for everyone. We're all anxious, and with many factors affecting the election like mail-in ballots, and potential post office delays, it's possible we won't see the results right away. Election
anxiety is real, and it's piling on top of COVID-19 anxiety and burnout.
That means you have two important things to do this week.
- Vote if you haven't yet. Election day is tomorrow. Check your state's rules to see if you can still register (some states allow this). Make a plan to go
early, bring your mask, hand sanitizer and appropriate clothing for the weather in case you're in line for awhile, or find a drop-box in your county.
- Turn off the news, schedule some self-care. Take a walk, have a bath, pick up one of those beach reads you never got to this summer, listen to your favorite
playlist, or try some deep breathing. Make sure you get in some self-care this week.
We'd also recommend you read the blog updates below for more ways to face COVID-19 anxiety and burnout, and election anxiety this week.

Sometimes it's simple solutions to feel better. With so many things to worry about and be aware of, our minds have a ton of clutter in them. And one of the easiest ways to declutter the mind is actually by decluttering your
outer environment, your home, your work space, even your schedule.
