The Essex Metro Immunization Coalition is hosting a virtual educational opportunity: Pediatric COVID-19: Not a Small Problem.
The webinar will discuss clinical features of Pediatric COVID 19, vaccine safety and indications, sports clearance for patients after infection, and long term sequelae of COVID-19 infections. One Free Continuing Nursing Education Contact Hour is available. Registration is required.
Presenter: Katharine Clouser, MD, FAAP
Dr. Clouser is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. She is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine and has published extensive peer-reviewed work throughout the pandemic on COVID-19 in the pediatric
population, including outcomes in children and adolescents with multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C).
