Please be informed we have an opening for System Admin position in Hyderabad & Bangalore, Further details below: Position: System Administrator Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore Job Type: Full Time Experience: 3-5 yrs Academic qualification and certification:- 1. Must be a graduate in any discipline (preferably graduate in engineering or computer science). 2. Must have completed any of the certification below:- MCSE, CCNA, ITIL, RHCE 3. Should have worked for minimum of 1 yr in software company. 4. Excellent communication (spoken/written) and interpersonal skills. 5. Should be willing to work in night shifts. Work Experiences:- 1. Provide support for Hardware & Software installation/maintenance. 2. Provide support for technical issues related to networking and internet. 3. Configuration, maintenance and monitoring of Linux/windows servers. 4. Configuration and maintenance of mail servers like Exchange/Qmail/Send mail etc. 5. Handling issues like virus threats, VPN and client supports. 6. Excellent troubleshooting skill and persistent in problem solving. 7. Good understanding of common applications in windows and Linux platform. 8. Identify technical issues pertaining to IT hardware/software/network devices and resolve the problem directly/remotely/through phone or email. 9. Writing reports, procedure manuals and business correspondence. 10. Providing systems software support for a complex computing environment. 11. Familiar with basic and advanced Linux system administration commands, tools and processes. 12. Team player with good man management skill. 13. Process implementation like ISO 9000/27001/CMMI . 14. Good understanding of ITIL standards and implementation. Technical Knowledge:- 1. Operating systems like Window XP/Win 7/ Server 2008/RHEL 5.0/ Mac OS. 2. Microsoft products like Exchange 2010/Share Point etc. 3. Open source applications like SVN/CVS/Bugzilla/Drupal/OpenAtrium/SugarCRM etc. 4. Basic knowledge on LAN/WAN/Internet and associated devices. 5. Basic knowledge on network security, management of firewall, VPN etc. 6. Basic understanding on office automation tools.
