We thank you for agreeing to conduct our convocation. But as we could not arrange adequate funds, we request you to cancel the program. We shall collect our degree as in routine manner from Mr. Yadav in the admin.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

It was not only about the funds, it was also about number of persons agreeing for the the unofficial ceremony in principle.

Dear Prashant,
It was indeed only for the funds. More than 150 persons agreed for the convocation earlier (including the part time and executive batches). But only about 20 people volunteered for the contribution for raising the funds. I am sorry if I did not communicate the detailed information earlier.
