EVENT FORMAT FOR SURPRISE EVENT (PANDORA'S BOX)

[INCORD HBTI]

Event Format

This is basically a surprise event. All the participants will be given any random software (new or old does not matter) and they will be required to accomplish a given task on it.

Round 1: (Prelims)

1. This will be on-paper round containing multiple choice questions that will test your basic software proficiency.
2. This is a single member event and everyone should have a registered INCORD ID. If you don't have the INCORD ID yet, please visit the registration page.
3. OMR sheets will be provided for submitting your answers.
4. Answers will be provided immediately after the answer sheets are collected.
5. There will be 30 questions to be solved within a duration of 30 mins

Round 2: (Finals)
Duration: 20+90mins

1. This will be a live round where participants will be provided with a new software/programming language.
2. The students may be provided with a PDF document to study the software/language.
3. The first 20 mins will be given to the candidates to get familiar with the software/language.
4. Once the 15mins are over the participants will be given a task to perform upon the software/language within the next 90 mins.
5. The winners will be decided on the basis of how much task is completed and the decision of the co-ordinators will be final.

 

 

Event Rules

Round 1:

1. This will be a 30 min objective question round.
2. Use of any unfair means will result in immediate disqualification from the event
3. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by the end of the day.

Round 2:

1. No extra time will be provided to analyze the software/language, the task will be given right away after 20 mins. Participants need to effeciently use the next 90 mins.
2. No extra PDF documents or files will be provided than the provided ones.
3. No internet connection will be provided.
4. External pendrives are not allowed in the LAB.
