EVENT FORMAT FOR SOFTWARE PROJECT EVENT ( ACTIVE- X)

[INCORD HBTI]

Event Format

This is software designing event. Intrested participants can design a software in the environment of their choice C/C++/JAVA/.NET/Web Application. The only criteria is that the software should have a GUI.

Round 1: (Prelims)

1. A maximum of 4 members per team are allowed
2. Students from different colleges can also be a part of the same team.
3. The event consists of 2 rounds: the prelims and the finals
4. Software project can be a Desktop Application/Web Application/Mobile Application
5. The entries shall be short listed on the basis of the abstract mailed
6. The participants are required to submit an abstract in the provided format
7. Abstract submission deadline: 29February, On the spot entries can also be evaluated depending upon the number of entries.
8. Selected teams will be informed through email & call.
9. The decision of the judges and the coordinators will be final and binding.

Round 2: (Finals)

1. You will need to showcase your project in front of the judges
2. Around 10 minutes will be provided for demonstrating your software
3. Questions related to project will be asked by jury
4. The innovation factor will be the key to fetch more marks
5. You may be asked to submit your project after demonstration for quality testing

 

 

Event Rules

1. Every participant needs to register and must have an INCORD ID. Click here if you do not have a INCORD ID yet.
2. A team can consist of maximum 4 members.
3. Participants can make their software in any language and it may be a desktop application/web application/mobile application.
4. If the source code is found to be copied form anywhere from the internet, the participants will be immediately disqualified.
5. You may prepare a powerpoint presentation to present your software infront of the judges.
6. Shortlisted candidates must bring a hardcopy of the software abstract on the site of event.

Event Deadlines

Last date for submission of abstract: 29th February

On the spot entries also may be allowed depending upon the number of total entries.

The list of shortlisted participants will be informed via email and call.
