Dear Members
Please don't forget our HBS Annual General Meeting this Thursday Night, immediately before Blues Night from 7pm.
It would be great to see as many members there as possible in support but generally the Agenda is very straight forward:
1. Annual Report - Chairman
2. Annual Financial Report - Treasurer
3. Election of HBS Officers and Committee Members:-
4. Disciplinary Matter.
Nominees for Committee Positions
At the moment Cara Graham has put her name forward for the role of HBS Secretary. Cara is already fulfilling the role of Newsletter Editor, so the role of Secretary will fall quite naturally into her lap.
There are two Committee Members positions to be confirmed:
Ann Hamblin
Gayl de Boer.
Volunteers Required:
We could do with a couple of volunteers on the night to help out where possible, from 6pm:
Door - Registration of members attending;
Door - Checking membership status.
Only financial members are permitted to attend the AGM. It would help us immensely if those wishing to update their membership could do that via internet banking before tomorrow night - before midnight Wednesday 12 May 2021. Because, doing membership updates and the registrations takes a little time at the door, it is great if members can make sure they have their membership cards 'in hand' when arriving. You must be a member for the 2019-2020 financial year, and 2020-2021 financial year. Each financial year runs from 1 April each year until 31 March in the next year.
Paying Membership:
Membership fees are $20 each per annum, but if there are two or more joining within a family, a family membership only costs $40.
