Dear Members
What a great Concert Sunday afternoon with The Flaming Mudcats, followed by Roger 'Mr Mudslide' McLay.
And they gave us some CD's to raffle, so bring some extra cash Thursday night for the raffles.
The next planned Concert will be - Sunday 5 September - Kokomo in concert for us. Door charge applies.
Special part of Thursday night's proceedings will be the farewell for Huw Alderman - not that Huw is really leaving us - just a little token from HBS to Huw for being Chairperson, being Event Manager for a lengthy time, and putting in a whole lotta work making things work for events.
On the very near horizon - Fete de la Musique (World Music Day) - well in fact two days Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 June 2021. Remember that there will be a number of HBS performers around the playing city.

Bandleaders and Performers: Huw Alderman is our Whiteboard Captain so please do not hesitate to book a slot with Huw at hbs2e...@gmail.com. Each Thursday has jam slots from 7:30pm until around 8pm. The NEW performance slots are 20 minutes each but remain at 3 songs only. Try to avoid sending booking emails in the minutes leading up to the event, some of us are too busy to even check our mobile phones. A sensible cut-off before the event would be Wednesday midnight before the event. This means, have your slots booked by midnight the day before the event.
