See below for a very cool opportunity to volunteer at the Life Sciences and Healthcare Venture Summit in New York City on March 27-28. There are both med device/dx and biotech/pharma tracks and there are some great VCs going. Get in touch with Nessi (see below) directly if you are interested.

Hi Martin – hope all’s well.

Wanted to check whether you’d like to join us as a Volunteer for The Life Sciences and Healthcare Venture Summit on March 27^th– 28^th in New York City.

This exclusive venture capital summit will bring together over 400 VCs, Corporate VCs, Private Investors, Investment bankers and CEOs of cutting edge companies, will feature an impressive line-up of more than 40 VCs on interactive panels; presentations from more than 70 Top Innovators and high-level networking opportunities.

Our “Featured Company” coaching session is on March 27^th from 1-5pm which is a more intimate gathering of VCs and entrepreneurs and will feature seven VCs on a panel discussion followed by presentations from some of the featured companies with the VCs providing feedback. You are of course welcome to join us for the cocktail reception which follows.

The full day summit will be on the 28^th.

Students are able to gain free admission (normally $150) and in turn help out for part of the day and enjoy the summit for the other part. Volunteers assist with setup, registration, program coordination etc.

The volunteer time slots are:

Tuesday, March 27^th

10am – 5:30pm (the reception follows)

Wednesday, March 28^th

6:30am – 5:30pm
