<Short Bio of Speaker>
Tao Tong is a PhD student in Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He is founding member and patent co-inventor of a semiconductor start-up designing silicon chips for mobile devices. Incorporated in mid 2012, their company has received several millions USD of funding.
<Event Brief>
In this event, Tao Tong will discuss the challenges as well as opportunities of doing a hardware start-up. He will talk about how to build a start-up from scratch and gather resources on the way to move the business forward. He will also share the experiences of building strong connections with giants like Samsung and Apple, as well as the experiences of working with investors and advisors.
