But it still can’t get you a cup of coffee or even a can of beer. 

For these kind of robots, dancing is easy. Doing useful things is hard. (Notice that the humans are dancing around the robots.) It’s low hanging fruit. Robotics still has a long way to go.

Yea, added to the fact that Unitree's open source API is built with closed code...Their idea of open source is a few measly test programs that call some of the API.

Well, if they donate two of their high end robots with full programming ability, I’ll give them access to my repo and the the that actually, truly fetched a can autonomously.
