Hi Marco,

I seem to remember you showed me a mindstorms build a few years ago of a humanoid balancing robot on wheels. I’ve attached a picture. Do you have build instructions? I bought the IMU a while back.

Thanks,

Jim

My starting points were
http://robotsquare.com/2012/03/13/tutorial-segway-with-nxt-g/ &
https://robotsquare.com/2012/02/13/tutorial-segway-with-robotc/
and maybe other entries from that site. But I kept that robot together
for so long now, that I don't really have much more info:-(

Have fun;-)

Perfect, thanks!
I also have NXT, RobotC and the Mindsensors AbsoluteIMU-ACG. I know it's an old design, but I've never built a balancing robot and want to start with a known quantity.

In the thread showing  BalBoaBot of mine I rattle off some links a few posts down.
This is the top of the post with link to a video of my bot, not 'pritty shell' yet but I want to make it look like a gnome at some point.

My best video of BalBoaBot really working well is here:  https://drive.google.com/file/d/16eFSEeM0CRTL_QDHk4RGwRxuEK6mRzcs/view?usp=sharing

The post on that thread about 4th post has few links that I found valuable to start with and I echo here:
I should have added that I 'started' with but have greatly hacked this code   https://gitlab.com/kloppertje/balancingrobot
The youtube that explains next to nothing but is fun is:   https://youtu.be/D7hvI_Tb0o4
