Motor Ramping

Last week while I was in Hawaii, we had a discussion of motor ramping.  I got an e-mail today reminding me of these people:  http://www.galilmc.com/

 

They sell industrial grade motor controllers, hence pricey, but they have a lot of educational information on the site and are a good place to see what the state of the art is.  While much of the information is specific to the use of their equipment (they do want to sell you said pricey stuff), there a lot of general information to be gleaned.
