Does anybody have experience hacking the Wifi Light Bulb Camera because Amazon lists it at $30 dollars and Alibaba at $5 with free shipping.
Seems like these parts could be good for a small robot.

I just bought a Philips brand light bulb for $12 at Home Depot.   Their new line is "Wiz" bulbs looks to be the best one.

If all you need is the WiFi Electronics that is inside, it is an ESP32 inside and you can buy those cheap.  They are $7 on Amazon and about $4.50 on eBay.   No "hacking" is required they are on a small board and are fulling documented and work in the Arduino IDE.

The light bulb I got is pretty good.  There are three LEDs side a red, blue and green and I can adjust the color of the light to be "anything"   Typically you would adjust the light from between "daylight" to "warm white"  It goes from 2400 alvins to about 5,000. and does about 800 Lumens using 8.8 Watts.

Also in the "Wiz" system are occupancy sensors and wall mounted controllers.   THe neat thing is that now you can simply hard wires the kitchen lights and place the "switch" and place you like as it is wireless   I can program it to come on if a person enters the room and otherwirs have just one bulb go to "night light" mode where it uses just a few milliwatts.   It connects to all the voice assists too.

There is no "hub" al the smarts is inside the lightbulbs.   Each one has an ESP32 inside.

What I am looking for is a Python open source package to control the light.
