For anyone attempting to access the ROS1 or ROS2 repositories to update or install anything, Friday evening, would have encountered a blunt warning "GPG error: http://packages.ros.org/ros/ubuntu bionic InRelease: The following signatures were invalid: EXPKEYSIG F42ED6FBAB17C654 Open Robotics <in...@osrfoundation.org>". Fortunately the diligent folks at osrf quickly fixed the issue overnight, by configuring a new "GPG key" expiry date, per this notice: https://discourse.ros.org/t/ros-gpg-key-expiration-incident/20669.
