Where do people get their solder paste? Is there someplace local? I
won't be able to store it after I buy it because I won't have a fridge
for this purpose, so I wanted to buy a small amount.

Anchor Electronics (Walsh & Scott near the SJ airport) sells some.
The sell it off the rack without being refrigerated.
