This looks like a tent that fits over a bicycle.  Some comments and questions…

  1. How is this specific to a blind person?   I’d think that if a tent over a bicycle would be a good idea anyone would want one.
  2. How does the bicycle turn, they need to lean into the turn so the tent should not be fixed to both the bike and the road
  3. Roads are not dead-flat so if there are more than three wheels on a vehicle it needs some kind of suspension
  4. You need daily large-diameter wheels for roads.  About as big as found on cars or bicycles.  I’d think 2-foot diameter is about right.
  5. A tent would have incredible wit resistance.  Not only would it slow the rider but would cause a serious problem in a crosswind.

1. For the past 30 years I have been working on transportation for the visually impaired. I drew a sketch 30 years ago of a bike enclosure
2. The enclosure is attached to the bike frame and the wheels have room to turn. If the enclosure was semi floating on wheels would also help.
3. Hence spring load suspension wheels
4. I will have to ponder this one
5. It is heavy that is why the wheels, and cross wind after 20,000 miles of biking I realize cross wind isn’t the big of an issue,(maybe in a desert, runways I was a pilot ) streets with houses and trees are wind tunnels so primarily head wind or tail winds
