Our own Nathan Lewis will give the presentation.
Title: LeKiwi Low-Cost Mobile Manipulator
Summary: Earlier this year, SIGRobotics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign introduced the "LeKiwi Low-Cost Mobile Manipulator" - an open-source, 3D-printable robot that pairs a TheRobotStudio SO-ARM101 5-DoF robotic arm with a 3-wheel holonomic chassis and is intended to be used with the HuggingFace LeRobot framework.

Since the robot doesn't have an official ROS package, Nathan has set out to integrate the LeKiwi with ROS 2. Join us for a walkthrough of his work-in-progress ROS package, which provides ros2_control integration for the robot's actuators, MoveIt integration for the arm, and simulation models based on the original model files.
Hope you can make it!
Thanks,
Camp
