Dear Stephen,

I’m reaching out to you as Home Brew Robotics is one of the groups that meet regularly at Maker Nexus. We’re very happy to provide our event room to nonprofit organizations and community meetups that share our spirit of collaboration and creativity.
Maker Nexus empowers people of all ages and backgrounds to learn, create, and innovate. Our hands-on community offers access to professional-grade tools and training—lowering barriers to craftsmanship, building confidence, creating opportunities, and fostering a culture of creativity and resourcefulness across the region.
Since opening our doors in April 2019, Maker Nexus has proudly supported the South Bay community. During COVID, we quickly pivoted to design, produce, and donate PPE to essential workers nationwide—rallying the local maker community in service of a greater need.
Today, Maker Nexus is home to more than 570 members who use our space as a hub for learning and building. This past summer, over 650 young people attended our camps, and through our partnership with Sunnyvale Community Services, we sponsored 15 youth with full scholarships.
For the first time, we’re hosting a Silent Auction, and we’d be grateful for your support. A gift certificate, class, or item from your business would make a wonderful contribution.
Your donation will not only help sustain Maker Nexus operations but also highlight your organization to our vibrant community. Our newsletter and event promotions reach over 15,000 members, friends, volunteers, and donors—people who value and support local businesses that give back.
Thank you very much for your consideration and support. We hope you’ll join us in making this inaugural auction a success!
Warm regards,

Regina
