When I was at the Bay Area Maker Faire the folks from DF Robot saw my robot Beer2D2 and that he has a Huskylens 1 Vision sensor mounted on his body they asked me what I used it for.
I told them that Beer2D2 can follow my face using AI and Facial Recognition. And then I explained it's other functions like I have to many people at many events.
They told me to come to their booth because they wanted to give me something.
So later Beer2D2 and I went to see them and they showed me the (not yet released) Huskylens 2
Wow this AI camera is COOL! It does many of the things that the original camera does( Object Recognition Facial Recognition, Line Following, Color Recognition Fiducial Recognition) and a LOT LOT MORE...
Anyways they gave me one for free. Since late September I was one of very few people in the world that had one. I was told not to tell anybody until the official product release in November.
When I got home I plugged it in to see if it worked and of course it did but I had no information on how to use it so it has been in its box for a month or so.
Well the DF Robot pages are up with the documentation and Arduino/Python programming examples.
OH BOY a new AI TOY..!
Thank you DF Robot I'm just starting to read the Tutorials now...
