I'm not a very good developer, but I wonder if there is anyone wit some time to spare and help the development of the ROS C++ driver that sonyccd has been working on https://github.com/sonyccd/roboclaw_ros

After a quick google search I found an existing RoboClaw driver that's already implemented in C++: https://github.com/bcharrow/scarab/tree/master/roboclaw . Have you had a chance to read or test this driver?

A quick read of the code suggests that it even implements dynamic_reconfigure for changing the PID parameters while it's running.
