I have been sharing my Real Robot build with the AI's and it helped me create a movie about some of them ..

  • Shared Vision: Using smart glasses, you can see what a robot "sees." For instance, a technician can see a digital overlay of a robot's diagnostic data or "see through" the robot's eyes to inspect a hazardous area.
2. Robots in Smart Cars & Smart Buildings
Robots are increasingly integrated into the environments where we live and travel.
  • Smart Buildings (Autonomous Maintenance): Buildings are becoming "living" entities where data centers coordinate teams of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).   • In-Car Assistance: Future smart cars may include "mini-robots" or holographic assistants that interact with you via smart glasses to provide navigation or point out landmarks.
3. California State Agency Applications
California agencies are already piloting these "physical AI" integrations to improve public service.
  • Caltrans (Robotic Inspections): Caltrans is piloting generative AI and robotic inspection for state infrastructure. Robots can crawl through bridges or tunnels, sending real-time 3D data back to a data center, which then highlights structural risks on an engineer's smart glasses.
  • Emergency Response: During wildfires or floods, the state can deploy drones and ground robots that stream data to a central hub. This hub then pushes critical audio alerts to first responders' earbuds, guiding them through low-visibility environments.
