Hey Brian,
This would be great for you to share with David Jaffe at Stanford, as well as your robotic groups! It’s an opportunity for private-sector innovators to co-design a healthcare solution for the VA.
Also, I want you to be on our site team (alongside our Director, other leaders, and staff) that will judge the pitches and determine which projects are the best match for our facility. I’ll send you the calendar holds 😊.
Best,
Kalyn

Attention Healthcare Innovation Community!
Register Now for the Founder Institute and VHA IE
Breaking Boundaries Collaboration ChallengeRegistration is now open for the first-ever VHA Innovation Experience (iEX) Breaking Boundaries Collaboration Challenge, hosted by VHA Innovation Ecosystem (VHA IE) and Founder Institute. This lead-up event to iEX is a pitch competition in which innovators from the private sector will have the opportunity to collaborate with VA to advance their solution to the next stage of development.
Twenty health care innovators, non-profits, entrepreneurs, start-ups, or academic affiliates at the earliest stages of solution design and development will be invited to pitch to VHA IE and VHA Innovators Network (iNET) site leadership and staff throughout the country. The goal is to advance the innovative health care solutions that will ultimately forge the future of Veteran care. Pitch applications are accepted June 9-July 30, 2021.
On Aug. 26 and 27, the 20 accepted innovators will pitch at the inaugural iEX Breaking Boundaries Collaboration Challenge virtual event. Challenge winners will be announced on the second day of the event along with a panel discussion on collaboration with VA called Breaking Boundaries: Co-Designing for Tomorrow. Winners will also be featured at the 2021 Innovation Experience (iEX) in October.
To learn more about the event and apply for the possibility to collaborate with VA, click below. You can also attend the event as a non-pitch attendee. Register to attend or participate today!
