This month please welcome Steve Macenski as our featured guest speaker.  Steve is the Senior Technical Lead of Samsung Research's Open Source Group and focuses on core development of the Robot Operating System (ROS). Steve is on the ROS Technical Steering Committee (TSC) and Navigation project lead.

Here's what's on the agenda for this Saturday...

10:00am Our own Alan Timm will update us with the latest on the GPTJ-6B, the largest open source generative pre-trained transformer neural network model with 6 billion parameters. Please click GPT-J-6B for a primer.

11:00am Samsung's Steve Macenski will give an overview of ROS2 Nav2 ​project's important architectural and configurable aspects, algorithms, and show a few demonstrations of new capabilities in Nav2. For the ROS2 Nav2, please click Nav2 for a primer.

12:00pm Lunch Break / Business meeting
