to HBaseHUT - HBase High Update Throughput

Hi to all,

I just found HBaseHut and it seems a good project for some of my work, i am using spark streaming and hbase to store data, GET+PUT.

I think HBaseHut will increase the performance of some applications.

I just wan't to ask if there are any updates on this project?

I am going to try to update the project to use a new HBase version and maybe try to convert it to scala.
