A node on the hbase has failed to cause client connection timeout

Hi everybody, I got some truble with HBase, here are my questions, thanks for help!

Why a node on the hbase failed will cause client connection timeout?

If client request the bad node, it doesn't reroute for a new/good node?

Client has set conf for timeout to 3s and retry times for 3, but still has more than 100s timeout requests.
