Using hostname instead of Ip Address

Using hostname instead of Ip Address.

For example if i use hostname like www.some-hostname.com instead of Ip address is allowed by Hazelcast?

sorry for the late response.

Yes, Hazelcast supports using hostnames instead of IP addresses (example here: https://docs.hazelcast.com/imdg/4.2/clients/java.html#configuring-using-cname ). We had some know issues when using hostnames, but we actually invested a lot of time into this and the next version (beta version to be released this week) will get quite a few fixes in the area. Make sure to give it a try and let us know.
