Hazelcast TreeMap and serialization issue

Good Afternoon,

In our organization we are trying to implement hazelcast as a caching
solution.
but unable to retrive TreeMap from hazelcast instance. and also tried
with normal Map but
it leads to the java.lang.Object not a serializable exception.
please let me know how to get Hazelcast TreeMap and solve the other issues.

Afaik there is no TreeMap for Hazelcast. 

Can you explain what you are trying to do and post some code.

Hi Peter,

I am also having the same requirement. Is there any possibility to get the treemap from the hazlecast instance. We have a way to do this in java. hazlecast getMap method will return the map, then we can create the new tree map and make use putAll method we can able to put all entries into the treemap. But tree map is slow. putAll method taking time. I am using hazlecast with storm. Inserting the values from map to treemap by using putAll took 5 seconds. So it reduces my performance.

Any help would be appreciated.
