HazelcastInstanceImpl - Node failed to start

Hi,

Can anyone point me in the right direction in relation to the following error I'm receiving from a tomcat axis2 application using Hazelcast 3.2.3?

Error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Node failed to start! at com.hazelcast.instance.HazelcastInstanceImpl.(HazelcastInstanceImpl.java:101) at com.hazelcast.instance.HazelcastInstanceFactory.constructHazelcastInstance(HazelcastInstanceFactory.java:143) at com.hazelcast.instance.HazelcastInstanceFactory.newHazelcastInstance(HazelcastInstanceFactory.java:125) at com.hazelcast.instance.HazelcastInstanceFactory.newHazelcastInstance(HazelcastInstanceFactory.java:102) at com.hazelcast.core.Hazelcast.newHazelcastInstance(Hazelcast.java:87) at 

... (custom code)

The custom code is simply calling:

HazelcastInstance hz = Hazelcast.newHazelcastInstance();

I'm using a default installation of Hazelcast without any configuration file (i.e. simply including the hazelcast-all-3.2.3.jar within the build and attempting to create a Hazelcast instance).

Hazelcast v3.2.3

Tomcat v7.0.53

Axis2 v1.6.2

OpenJDK 1.7.0_55

It seems instance can not be started. Are you sure there is no other exception in the logs?

Can you try to run it setting log level to finest?
