Hazel Knits 2009 Sock Club

How’s everyone doing on their holiday knitting?? Clicking the needles
is always such good therapy for me in the crazy month of December -
and this month is definitely crazier this year than most!! I have been
reading the Ravelry post (for those of you that are on there) and I'm
super impressed by all of the awesome projects. And if you're not on
Ravelry, it always makes me super happy when you e-mail me photos of

Okie dokie - I’ve had so many requests for a yarn club so I’ve been
putting my thinking cap on - streamlining things here and having a
great time brainstorming to make this happen for 2009. So here it is -
I’M GONNA DO IT!!

I have the details worked out and will post them soon. However, I will
have a minimum number of sign-ups (or rather people telling me their
are interested) in order to launch. So for now I’m going to give you
all a little teaser and ask that you help me spread the word so I can
get to work on this. I am super excited!!

Here’s what I’ll share for now:

**The club shipments will arrive every other month and will have TWO
skeins of yarn. One skein will be variegated and the other will be a
COORDINATING tinted/semi-solid. This way you can use them separately
or together in a project.

**Cost will be $30 a month (or less - I’m working on some pricing
structures that will allow for discounts depending on how many months
are purchases at a time.

**Packages will contain more than just yarn :) Yarn skeins will range
from 365 yards to the standard 400 yards. This will all be fingering
weight yarn.

Again, more details will come - however if there are some big
questions that need to be answered that will help you make a
determination, please don’t hold back!! When I hit the targeted number
of people I’ll open sign ups. Also, please feel free to post about
this on your blogs or mention this in any groups you are active in. :)
I would love to do the first club shipment in February… Also, remember
to put this on your holiday wish lists…

Thanks, y’all - keep the project pics coming. They make me soooo
happy!! Oh - and perhaps I should update mine too on Ravelry and the
Hazel Knits website. Got some!
