We hope to see lots of you tomorrow. We’ll gather on the South end of the street up to #40.

There’s no plan, just turn up with a cup of tea/coffee in hand. But if you do have a special skill or something to share, please do! Musicians would be wonderful.

Some children will be selling cake in aid of the Trap Grounds so bring some coins if you have them. There’ll also be an opportunity to buy Catherine’s Hayfield Road book if you haven’t got a copy yet.

If your car is parked between #1-40 and you can easily move it between 2-4pm so much the better, but it’s by no means necessary.

And if you live in the half where the street is shut off, it might be a nice idea to put a chair or two in the street for people who would like to sit.

Come for 10mins or the full two hours. Bring friends, family, grandchildren. Everyone is welcome.

Sarah

Dear Sarah and everyone,

Thank you for making our augural Sunday Street such a triumph! The sun shone on this excellent event, literally and metaphorically :) and I look forward to the next one!

Best wishes
Isabel

Dear Sarah

Thank you very much for bringing your Sunday street initiative to Hayfield Road.  It was a genuinely lovely occasion.  Thanks to all the people involved in making it happen and a very special thanks to Jacqui for her beautiful music-making.

Thank you to all who could make it.

A professional violinist, a visit from a very friendly hen, face painting, homemade lemonade, beautifully packaged up sunflowers seeds (grab one from Bonnie and Etta if you haven’t got yours yet- the idea is to plant them in front of our houses- photo attached), and over £50 raised for the Trap Grounds in cake sales.

Feel blessed to live on such a lovely road.

I reckon we should do it again?! I applied for another couple of dates between now and October.

Have a lovely evening

Thank you so much for yesterday’s street celebrations Sarah and all your hard work in organising everything. It was a lot of fun and the sun shone! I’m looking forward to Sunflower Street in the summer!
