Hello neighbours. The next fortnightly meet-up at The Anchor will be on Wednesday this week (8th April), hosted by Caroline Pepys, starting at 6 pm, winding up at 7pm-ish.
Everyone is welcome at these events: regulars, one-offs, and first-timers. Buy a drink at the bar and then enjoy an hour of friendly chat in the conservatory -- a chance to meet new neighbours, catch up with local news, and support the pub.

Today's Sunday Street event was good fun: the music, the cakes, the sunflower seeds, the games, the face painting, the hen-cuddling, etc. And Ana and Etta raised £62 and 5 pence for the Trap Grounds nature reserve from sales of lemonade and homemade cakes. Many thanks to them both.
