Sunday Street - 19th April

Dear All, 

We have received permission from the Council to close off the south side of Hayfield Road (up to number 40) on Sunday 19th April 2-4pm for 'Sunday Street'. An intergenerational event designed to get us all together in an informal way on our street. 

Please save the date. We hope lots of you will come be able to along. 

It's very much weather dependent. We have another approved date in May should the April date not work out.

As per my previous message: it's designed to be informal and spontaneous. It can be whatever we want it to be. Come with a cup of tea in hand, bring an instrument to play, share allotment produce/seeds, bake some cakes to share etc etc. 

I know some of you would have loved to shut off the entire street. For now the idea is to start relatively small and see how people feel about it.
